Path To Business
Cameron’s path into tax and accounting was anything but a straight line. Before he was advising business owners on how to protect their income, he was a professional soccer player across four continents. While playing, he earned his MBA in finance and accounting, and saw firsthand how badly his fellow influencers, athletes, and digital nomad friends needed real tax and accounting support. So he built BizBud to fill that gap, bringing the same discipline from his playing career into every client relationship.
That athletic background still shapes how Cameron works. On the field, results came from preparation, repetition, and executing under pressure. Cameron built BizBud on the same principles. He believes success in taxes comes down to proactive planning and precise execution rather than scrambling at the deadline, and he has structured the firm to give clients a team that plans ahead, keeps clean books, and understands their full situation before problems ever arise.
A Global Entrepreneur
Having lived the life of a global entrepreneur himself, Cameron understands the specific challenges his clients face: multiple income streams, cross-border complexity, contractor relationships, and the constant tension between growing a business and staying compliant. His dual heritage and international experience make him especially well-suited to help foreign founders and location-independent business owners set up and operate in the U.S. the right way. He founded BizBud in 2020 to take that burden off their plates so they could focus on the work they love.
